So after watching Saturday evening amazing NOFX gig i decided to ask the best music manager around for the chance of a pass for Sundays gig and to amazement he said yes! So as I had not shot at the academy for at least 2 years i begun to feel nervous, could I still shoot live was I good enough? would the lighting be good? I charged up my batteries and of I went, Pass collected I waited double and triple checking all the settings on my cameras ISO set, aperture set white balance set. The lights dimmed and I got that fuzzy feeling of excitement I used to crave as we all got ready to shoot, the pit was quieter and being the only girl always seems to make it a little easier.

Out walked the band Fat Mike with bright pink Mohawk and sporting a French maids outfit complete with skull socks!, El Hefe looking so slim and excited to be playing again, Melvin shirtless with blue dreads as usual and smelly looking happy! So I started shooting and I think I remebered what I was doing as I seemed to come away with an awesome set of shots! plenty of posing from Hefe and Smelly and the lighting for the night was pretty good, I was happy we got 4 songs to shoot instead of the usual 3 as their songs are so short plus i got to shoot The Idiots are taking over one of my favourite NOFX songs. So now I have my buzz back, the spark I had lost by shooting gigs, my aim is to try and do more of this!
